Why you need this heat protectant spray in your life

Hands up if you’re guilty of heat styling everyday? Don’t worry, we are as well. Whether it’s a daily blow dry or a regular straightening session, we probably don’t need to tell you that applying that amount of heat - our favourite Cloud Nine irons go up to 220°C! - isn’t great for your precious locks. We’ve got the answer to your problems though: Moroccanoil Perfect Defense.

If you haven’t already added a heat protector to your hair regime, we’d recommend you start now. That extra layer of protection before you apply heat can make all the difference in both the short term shininess and finish of the style as well as your hair’s long-term health.

After our fair share of love for the Moroccanoil Original Treatment, we thought we’d introduce you to Perfect Defense spray, which really is… perfect. What does it do exactly? Well, read on.

It protects your hair from heat - and nourishes it!

This spray is packed with thermal protection ingredients that will protect your hair from all forms of heat - up to 230°C! 1. Apply 1 pump of Moroccanoil Treatment Light to damp hair provide the perfect foundation for styling.
2. Apply Moroccanoil Root Boost into the roots of the hair and blow-dry using a round brush to create lift. Finish the blow-dry with a deep side part.
3. Section the hair into one inch sections and spray with Moroccanoil Perfect Defense before wrapping each section around a curling wand (try the Cloud Nine Waving Wand). Wrap mid-lengths around the wand, away from the face, hold for 3 seconds and release to create long, lean and uniform waves.
4. Finish the look with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Medium by spraying hair and leaving to set for a few seconds. Brush through with a boar bristle brush to create a sleek and polished look.
