10 Morning Routine Tips With Me Today

You’re either lucky enough to be a morning person or your morning routine looks a lot like mine did: constantly hitting the snooze button every chance you get; your energy is at an all-time low and your skin looks as tired as you feel.

Inspired by Me Today and their approach to putting yourself first so you're at your best to help others, I decided to make small tweaks to what was my non-existent morning routine that have helped me thrive throughout the day!

Keep reading for 10 Morning Routine tips you need to try to set yourself up for a good day.

  1. Focus on how you want to feel

What kind of day are you setting yourself up for? Relaxed? Energised? However, you want to feel throughout the day, start your morning with an activity, action or experience that mimics that feeling! I love starting my day with a morning walk followed by the Me Today Energise Supplements to enhance my energy and productivity throughout the day!

  1. Create a routine that works for you

Morning routines are not a one size fits all! There was a lot of trial and error when I was finding what worked for my morning routine. What works for others may not work for you so make sure it feels right!

  1. Start your morning routine at the same time every morning

We know... Hitting the snooze for an extra 10 minutes in bed is always so tempting but it’s time to ditch the sleep in’s and start the day right!

Pro Tip: Put your phone on the other side of the room before bed so it forces you to get out of bed to switch your alarm off.

  1. Practice Gratitude

Investing in your mindset & thoughts can make a huge difference to your day ahead. Whether you meditate, journal, read personal growth books it really does create greater clarity throughout the day.

  1. Prioritise “Me-Time”

Reminder: “Me-Time” is not selfish! You deserve to unplug & unwind, and there's no better way to start your day than with some uninterrupted me time. When you think you don’t have time for yourself, you do! Set that alarm earlier and set the tone for the day ahead!

  1. Create a night-time routine

Prepping for your day the night before is one of the easiest ways to give yourself a little extra time in the morning. Your night routine is just as important as your morning routine as you need that time and space to decompress after a long day.

If there's one step in my night-time routine that I look forward to the most it’s doing my skincare. If you’re following current skincare trends, then you know Hailey Bieber's glazed skin is all everyone's talking about - & it’s totally achievable with the Me Today Night Cream. Expect to go to sleep & wake up with glossy, smooth & radiant skin.

  1. Keep it simple

If you’re like me you may have the tendency to go from 0 to 100 when making changes in your life however, from experience – it's not great long term! Start with one thing at a time, and once you get into a good rhythm with your routine you can start to add more!

  1. Create boundaries

Checking your phone first thing in the morning usually creates chaos, stress & intrudes with your thoughts and mood! If you’re intention for the day is to productive, relaxed, energised then say goodbye to screen time!

  1. Create a tick list

If you don’t know where to start out with your morning routine, create a list! Make note of the things you want to accomplish in the mornings & continue to do this until it becomes habitual. There's nothing more satisfying than completing your to-do list, trust me!

  1. Don't worry if you miss a day

If you miss a day or don’t tick off everything on your morning routine tick list...it’s not the end of the world! Becoming a morning person doesn’t happen overnight.
